Tom Berens
Tom Berens President/CEO
Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Tom moved out to Utah in 1996. By 1997, he had designed, built and deployed Go-Utah.com. With a strong technical background, and a thorough understanding of the travel industry and database website programming, he has overseen the Go Travel Sites’ expansion to all 50 states, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Pam Gottling
Pam Gottling VP of Sales
In 1996, Pam moved from Clearwater Beach, Florida to Utah to see the national parks and mountains; it was supposed to last a year or two. Pam joined The Go Travel Sites in early 2006, initially as a sales representative. Today, she oversees corporate partnerships with leading hospitality, travel, and media companies. In this roll, she also leads a team responsible for sales, marketing, and client support throughout the U.S.

Cameron Yates
Cameron Yates Project Management
Cameron moved out to Utah from North Carolina in 2008 to pursue his love for snowboarding and fly-fishing... he expected to be in UT for a year but has a hard time imagining life without the mountains. Cameron’s multi-faceted skill set allows him to act as project manager for website development as well as data management and content development as projects progress. He acts as the everyday contact with clients to ensure projects are on time, completed properly and to take care of any issues that clients may need help with.

James Rail Development Team Manager
James is a Utah native and major outdoor enthusiast that you'll find camping or off-roading pretty much anytime it's doable. He manages the in-house Development Team with a specialty in handling and database management for our massive in-house record collection for the Go Sites databases. He also heads up the Social Media team here at GTS.

Tim Horyna
Tim Horyna Sales / Client Liaison
Tim is originally from Eugene, Oregon, but moved in high school to the ski resort town Park City, Utah in 1985. While attending the University of Utah, he began commercially guiding whitewater river trips in southern and eastern Utah. The great snow, southern Utah desert camping, mountain biking and whitewater rivers made it easy to stay. Tim works with numerous Destination Marketing Organizations and private businesses across the Western United States helping develop their marketing plans and promoting their destinations and businesses. After working in corporate America for 15 years with Hertz Equipment Rental and GE Capital he considers working for GTS a breath of fresh air. He lives with his 9-year old daughter in Salt Lake.

Chris Newton Sales / Client Liaison
Chris is originally from Michigan but headed out to Utah in 2001 to spend a winter shredding the pow and, like so many, never found his way out of the mountains. Chris works with over 100 Destination Marketing Organizations in the Western United States helping develop their marketing plans and promoting their destinations. He has extensive experience in the destination marketing area.

Joe Simmons Sales / Client Liaison
Joe was born and raised in Utah. Although he has traveled all over the world, his home has been, and will always be, Utah. Joe grew up on the amazing ski slopes of Utah, enjoys all that Southern Utah has to offer and finds true happiness in traveling to near and far off destinations. He has been in sales, marketing and customer relations for over 10 years. Joe works with lodging and recreation companies, as well as Destination Marketing Organizations. He delights in consulting with his clients on the best ways to market their travel businesses and destinations online.

Will Leavitt
Will Leavitt Sales Support
Will was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He loves the mountains and camping down in southern Utah and is an avid outdoorsman and a proud owner of two mangey muts. Will's the sales team MVP in the fact that he assists the team in so many ways. He helps with everything from researching potential clients, to invoicing clients and preparing renewal packets for them, to creating personalized Customer Information pages. Essentially, he's a jack of all trades and ties up all the loose ends.

David McGuigan Head Programmer
Originally from Arizona, David came to Salt Lake for educational purposes and has never left. This guy has the most awesome computer monitor set-up ever created, with which he handles most of the programming work for our Go Travel Sites. He's a mad genius with advanced skills in ColdFusion, Flash Remoting, AJAX, CSS, XML, and Web Services. His vision for creating cutting-edge programming design and unique skill set make him an invaluable member of our team.

Zach Gildersleeve
Zach Gildersleeve Graphic Design|Specialized Media
Zach's originally from Colorado but was drawn to Salt Lake for graduate school and has been here ever since. As an avid photographer, fly fisherman and skier you can usually find him outdoors on the weekends when he's not brewing some of the best homemade beer around. Zach has 8 years of experience working with and creating high-end digital media content, including Flash, animation, streaming video, and interactive media and is also an incredibly skilled graphic designer, with a focus on websites.

Jonathan Haglund
Jonathan Haglund IT and Server Admin
Jonathan is a transplant from sunny Southern California who went native after graduating from college in 2006. Originally that kid in the neighborhood whom people referred to as a "computer wiz", Jonathan studied C++, Java and computer science before switching to English so that he could communicate with humans as well as computers. Jonathan's skill set includes informatics, systems integration, infrastructure design and support and a general passion for early Modern English literature. He also speaks ColdFusion, some PHP, regular expressions and French. Jonathan serves as an invaluable asset to our clients in the administration of their websites.

Tyson Henrie
Tyson grew up in Las Vegas and moved to Utah for college. After graduating and working for a few years in call center operations/technical support, he decided to pursue a master's degree in London. He is currently finishing his thesis in Information Science while residing again in Salt Lake. He is involved in web content development, SEO projects, and various other tasks at the Go Travel Sites.

Catherine Rail Office Manager
Catherine (aka Cat) is a Utah bred theatre major with a love of traveling, the outdoors, movies, warm weather and fun! She is the Office Manager and handles many various aspects around the office including (but not limited to) payroll, bookstore, mail, department assistance, website maintenance, loads of paperwork and much much more.

GTS Web Design started as the creative team behind the Go Travel Sites network of 50 state travel portals -- Go-Utah, Go-Arizona, Go-California, etc. We have been in business for 14 years operating our travel websites and providing design and advertising services to clients in the travel industry.
We recently established GTS Web Design as a separate unit within the Go Travel Sites family in order to best serve our growing list of website clients.
